Ezra Garland Norfleet81, of Indianapolis, died September 6, 1924. He served in the Navy as an airplane mechanic. Ezra was active with the Church of Christ, the Indiana Gun Club and Kingen’s Gun Club. He worked for Moran Electric Co. and was a member of the IBEW, retiring to Clay County, Indiana where he took up fishing and was active in the VFW. Ezra was preceded in death by his first wife Opal Grace Norfleet. He is survived by wife Jean of Clay City, IN, previous wives; Carolyn and Betty, daughter Judy Jones (Raymond), son; Jonnie Norfleet, brothers; Edward, Roger, and Weldon, sisters; Grace, Ina May Imolene, Lucille and Tina Fay, grandchildren; Benjamin and Jason Turnbill. A memorial service will be held at Greenfield Church of Christ, 1380 State Street, Greenfield, IN, Monday, September 11 at 6:30 pm. Burial will follow at Marion National Cemetery.

We are very sorry to hear of the loss of our Uncle Ezra. He is the brother of our Dad who has passed, Dennie Junior Norfleet and Brother-in-Law of our Mom, Barbara Norfleet who lives in Carthage, Indiana.

Judy & Johnnie I am so sorry to hear your dad has passed away in 2006. I remember him and my mom Carolyn going fishing near the golf course,Playing kick ball with me,, I remember u and Johnnie as well.. My mom also passed away due to cancer on 02-04-1991 at her home while in my care. 1 day I hope I will find u 2 again.. My thoughts and prayers are always with u all ur’s aunts and uncles as well.. Judy and Johnnie sorry to hear your dad died.. He was always a hreat step father towards me.. I always remind how he kid around with me. Played kick ball with me.. Took me golfing and fishing.. I always miss him and ypu 2.. You guys have me email address now get a hold me when you can. My mom Carolyn passed away in 1991 Geb. 4th due to 3 types of cancer.. I was only 22 years old that time.. Always live. Him and you guys.. My sister my mom oldest just passed away June 23.2014 also Linda there in Induanapolis.. So pkease try away to get a hold me if you can.. So I can tell yoy all about me n how my lufe turn out til now.. Love Always Step Sister Debbie
